The cave smelled damp and musty, with a slight hint of the freshness of greenery and clean water. Nerissa stood at the mouth of it, just on the other side of the roaring waterfall, nose twitching as she took everything in. Her ears and tail remained perked and on alert, a trait from her totem she couldn’t seem to shake. It would only come in handy if she saw a herd of deer, which she thought was unlikely, but wouldn’t put it past the caves. Padding on inside with her hiking boots making dull, wet noises on the rock below, she made her way on inside the cavern. It was a gorgeous place with cracks in the ceiling allowing sunlight to trickle in and shine on the plants that grew between the rocks and in the crevices on the walls. Now the air smelled more like greenery, being in the middle of it washed away all the normal cave smells. It was pleasant and breezy still. She had no plans to go any further than this first little area today, it was way too hot even for winter to venture into
It was another chilly day as Rose swept some snow off of her precious plots, preparing to plant some hardy winter seeds. It was a marvel to her that anything dared grow during the snowy months, after all, the earth was cold and unwelcome. But here she was, with all of her little seedlings that had been prepared inside her kitchen. It was a hassle constantly moving them about as she cooked and cleaned, which made her consider buying a greenhouse come spring. It would look so cute nestled between the plots and the shed, she thought as she began digging into the hard ground. It would have ventilation and perhaps a small heater could be placed within while it was chilly out, so the fragile seedlings wouldn’t perish in the snow. Which reminded her, it was about time to get the spring seeds rolling as well… Pushing her mind away from plans of Spring, she continued to dig her holes in the ground, carefully nestling each one into the earth and making small hills for them to live in. Once they
Auburn's favorite part of any festival was the attractions; going around to each of them once, twice, even sometimes thrice to play along or witness some shenanigans that happened to be going on at the time. The Cirque always had a lot variety of activities to do, of which she was always thankful for because it meant that she could find a few that she could have fun with more than once. This year was no different, though it did have the added bonus of having a several themed area's, one of which housed the latest and newest 'Mr. Rime Dance-A-Long' game. Auburn, currently snacking on a corn dog, peered towards the machine with envy, watching as partner after partner came and went, taking turns on the game all the while looking like they were having the time of their lives. She took another bite off the stick, feeling envious of those brave enough to put on such a display. The Munchlax wanted nothing more than to go forth and play along with them, but she was nervous enough over her
The two of them made their way over to the more retro area of the Cirque, marvelling at the sights and sounds of yet a new area. This area held more if not the same amount of fun that the original classic carnival held, only the lights were more vivid and exciting. They wandered through the neon lights for a while at first to just get a feel for the area before honing in on a few games to try. Naturally Myles needed to show off for Mordi via the strength test, so they moseyed on over so Myles could try and yeet a few sheep for an Elgyem to abduct. “Alright Mordi, watch this!” Myles called as he reached the front of the line. Mordi had decided not to participate in this one, the last thing he needed was to pull a muscle and immediately go back to farming tomorrow with a bum arm. “Yes, dear boy, you have my full attention.” Mordi called back, arms crossed as he watched with amusement. It was like taking one's child to the circus to watch them run around. Myles brought down his full body

HL: Honey Bear for a Honey Bear
It had all been bubbles and butterfrees since her unplanned confession to Apani. Gosh, she kept playing it over in her head. Did she just miss the part where they were going to announce it??? Either way, she was IMMENSELY pleased at how it turned out. Hand holding, giggling, more in depth conversations...it plastered a dopey grin on her face as she made her way to the Cirque. She wanted to go without Apani this time to attempt to earn some cute plushies to give to her...girlfriend. Empty backpack slung over her shoulders, she made her way over to the skee ball section of a mini arcade the Cirque was offering. At least here she could use her old softball pitching skills to hopefully net a good prize or two! Luckily bear pokemon were a popular bunch to turn into plushies, because she had her eye on two: a Teddiursa and a Stufful. Maybe a Deerling if she was lucky. Over and over she threw that familiar underhand, slowly building her way up to shift it to actually hit the tiny little goal
Rose took the mask in shaky hands and turned it over and over again, taking in every precious detail. It was...perfect. It matched her name, she loved the flowers, it was a grass totem...it just fit. She felt tears welling up in her eyes as she gazed at it. She would be the nurturing, blossoming mother she felt she deserved to be with this. “Thank you so much, Mordecai! I feel like I definitely won’t regret this choice. It’s perfect.” She murmured, looking up at the mega man with a big beaming grin. “You are most welcome. Now, shoo shoo, out of my tent, I have love fortunes to share with the masses.” Chuckling, she rose and pushed her way out of the tent, holding the mask with both hands like an odd, flat steering wheel. And steer her it did. She made her way through Toy Land, looking around at all the fun people were having as they ran and chased each other through the booths, or played games and cheered as they won prizes. Stopping at a booth with a Leafeon plushie, she teared up yet
